Creative and fun, A&C is a general program where a new craft is taught and made every day. From the latest way to tie-dye your socks, to painting and bedazzling, the A&C develops the creative side of our campers.
Fine Arts
The fine arts program at Davern targets more skill based art forms. From pastels and charcoal to paper mache and water color, fine arts is ideal for all art lovers that are keen to bring their summer camp artwork home with them at the end of the session.
Bracelet Making
Through the use of twine, plastic rope, yarn and various strings, campers are able to create irresistibly chic crafts and accessories and bracelets. Make one for your self or for a friend.
Rec Dance
Targeting those who like to get loose and funky! Davern dance seeks to get kids active and moving their bodies. With a focus on having fun, each dance class is set up to be challenging and rewarding.
Drama
All the world’s a stage! An ideal program for kids to release inhibition and overcome fears, the camp drama program focuses on self-expression. With an emphasis on improvisation, monologues and theatrical games, drama offers enjoyment for thespians of all skill levels.
Music
Pick up a guitar and get strumming! Whether you already play, or have never plucked a string, our guitar program focuses on individual skill development. Camp Davern has instruments; but, campers are also welcome to bring their own.
